arriving in Q3 2024 wiht a new new Xe2 iGPU

Between COMPUTEX and CES, this is the time of the year where the big tech shows collide and when our favorite tech players will flex their new excuses for us to go in debt.

Intel has decided to take everyone by surprise and tease what is to come for Q3 2023, its highly anticipated new laptop-centric family of processors : LUNAR LAKE.

this latest release comes with higher pressure than usual since we have now new players maturing on the market, and most noticeably ARM.

The new x86 chips will arrive in the third quarter of this year, and they’re designed to enable the new AI experience in Copilot Plus PCs.

Intel’s announcement coincides with Microsoft’s Surface and AI event, where Microsoft leaned on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Plus chips for Copilot Plus PCs that promise high performance and longer battery life. However, Intel claims its Lunar Lake processors are capable of 1.4 times faster performance in Stable Diffusion 1.5 compared to the Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite.
