AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ PRO 495 AMD – Radeon 8065S – 196 GB DDR5

first leaks!

One of last year’s most noticeable and innovative release was the RYZEN AI MAX 395+ CPU, which, with its RDNA 3.5 enabled Radeon 8060S GPU, and an imposing 128 GB DD5 LPX, showed AMD’s absolut supremacy in mobility computing.

Overnight, we saw a flurry of AI MAX 395+ powered MINI PCs, featuring unprecedented desktop-class performances,  amongst which the GEEKOM MEGA 9 MIN PC had made the biggest impression at IFA 2025’s convention in Berlin

Today saw the first confirmed leaks of its successor : the AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ PRO 495

Leaked PassMark Performance

Based on the early test summary that leaked today, here is how the performance is shaping up against the current flagship:

While AMD hasn’t officially announced the Ryzen AI Max 400 series or the Radeon 8065S branding yet, this HP testbed leak confirms they are actively testing these enterprise “Gorgon Halo” chips in the wild right now!

The Core Specifications

This chip is shaping up to be an absolute monster for mobile workstations and enterprise users, building directly on the foundation of the 300 series but cranking up the dials.

The Big Deal: 192GB of Memory

The most exciting part of today’s leak wasn’t the slight clock speed bumps; it was the memory. The chip was benchmarked on an HP system running a staggering 192GB of LPDDR5X memory (using eight 24GB SK hynix packages).

There is much to be confirmed but we can already publish the enough specs to predict with a certain sense of certitude, what should be rolled out by AMD in Q2 2026.

AVAILIBILITY & PRICING

This is still early, but the RYZEN 495 AI MAX+ PRO gives us a sneak peak on what will be a very PRICEY collection of mobile computing. With the current and lasting memory crisis, we are looking at MINI PCs retailing at about 4,000 USD. As mentioned earlier, first 495 AI MAX+ powered MINI PCs should start to heat the shelves in Q2 2026.

More to come.
